After nine years of litigation by Robert Soto and plaintiffs, the Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals rules unanimously that the seizure of 42 eagle feathers in the 2006 pow wow violated Robert Soto's (and the plaintiffs) American Indian religious rights. The 5th Court remanded to the lower district court for proceedings consistent with this opinion.
